Welcome to Egypt

Cairo, how to describe Cairo... for those of you who have been to hell and then went to Cairo would still not consider it an upgrade ;)...

Most of you all know this, we are just confirming the obvious... Budget hotel are crazy expensive as are budget meals. Lots of people pretending to help you but later louring you into their stores. Our tour to one museum turned out to be nothing more than a paper shop, we did however learn some interesting thing about paper. Just what you want to do in Egypt... Word of the day : Shoukran (or something like that) we still need to practice it, but seems like if it means F-off :) but it actually means thank you (as what we were told...) We have seen the pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx which are great.

Seen from the distance Saqqara pyramid (too cheap to pay the admission fees...) Justin ate a fresh date today to test the protection offered by Dukoral we are counting down the days until he gets explosive you know what...

Last comment about Cairo, physicists studying chaos theory would be mystified by the driving here... who would have said that a lane made for 3 cars can actually fit 8... Cairo has a very efficient way of communicating in between drivers which is called the symphony of horns (1 beeps or 2 rapids mean hi!, 2 longer mean wake up, 3 beeps mean move out of the way). When they all do it at once... well yeah. One more tip, if you want to book a hotel in Cairo and they are charging you extra for hot shower, don’t get caught YOU definitely don’t need HOT showers here… The cold waater is actualy quite warm, to the point where it would be nicers if they charged you for clod water! Tomorrow we are hopping to train to Luxor. This may be too much to ask given the system to purchase tickets.

I think that is when someone stole our camera and went mad and took multiple shots then gave it back to us all without our knowledge...
